Similarly, don't skimp on service and quality by being understaffed -
Options include freelancers, consultants, and part time employees.

#12.  Historically, many businesses reduce advertising and promotional expenditures rather than slash fixed costs during hard times - However, studies have shown that those maintaining or increasing ad layouts during slowdowns wind up outselling rivals who cut back.

"The companies that Jenn had worked for are very demanding and competitive so I knew she could take pressure and get projects done. Also, her knowledge of the Heavy Highway Construction industry. Jenn's exposure to business has been full circle. She has a great ability to bring different ideas to the table.  Jenn's ability to organize people.  She does what she says she is going to do. She is creative. My light bulb moment was when she said let’s see what the employees like about web sites. Getting input from others.  Not afraid to say something might be a bad idea or bring a different idea to our attention. Good team approach, scheduling, and being clear on goals."
